Sunday morning bliss

Hello Sunday morning.  How I love you.  I love Sunday, June 24th for allowing me to relax, enjoy my coffee, read my magazines, cuddle with my pup, and lounge in pajamas.  Although I am finished with school, I've got an egagement party to plan!  I know it's been 5 months since I got engaged, but geez louise I've been crazy busy.  Also, somehow every weekend from now until the end of August is booked.  This Sunday morning is a much needed few hours of escape.  Now for some life according to my camera:

This last one is my fiance making goofy looking grins with his 3-d glasses on at Prometheus (which I super liked by the way!)

Anyways...... coming up this week: popsicles, fabric covered pots, spiced up shoes, granola bars, and delish cocktails.  Enjoy your Sunday!

 

 

 

June June June!

Hello lovely friends! 

I can't believe that May is over!  It's been quite the manic, rollercoaster month for me.  I am still a full time worker bee, student, wedding planner, house buyer, and dog owner, but I have decided to switch gears a bit.  I have been working as an accountant for a local coffee roaster, Fonte Coffee for 4 years now, and have been in school full time for accounting on top of that for 2.  UGH!  What the EFF was I thinking?  I made the sudden decision to quit school for accounting.  I realized that I am wasting my time, money, and energy on something that I am really not passionate about.  Although, I enjoy my job (and get to have the amazing coffee I want!), so I will learn to be ok with the fact that my job is just my job, and the rest of my time is my life....... for now.  Three weeks left of boring school and I intend to bust out all of my creative energy, and soak in the sunshine!

Here's what's up for June:

Finish pesky class!, start that potted herb garden on the deck, pickled rhubarb, strawberry infused balsamic vinegar, pickled asparagus, strawberry syrup, mastering a side braid, pastrami and peach sandwiches, peach infused bourbon, oh boy......... the list goes on.  I will try to fit all of these into my last hectic weeks of work and school.  Oh yeah- and start planning my wedding!

Javier is bubble nesting!

Hello friends!  I am excited to say that our best, and most professional, office friend has started bubble nesting.  This fish is fantastic.  He literally jumps out of the water when you hover his bowl with food.  He is a happy little chico!  Now to find him a date on plentoffish.com. :)
